# Janet Amesoli — Zuni Silversmith

Janet Amesoli (Zuni) is the daughter of Madeline Beyuka (1935–; Zuni) and the sister of Philbert (Bert) Beyuka and Jonathan Beyuka. She is part of the Beyuka family — one of the significant documented Zuni silversmithing and inlay lineages of the twentieth century.

Her mother Madeline Beyuka is a mosaic inlay maker whose work spans inlay jewelry, corn maiden figures, and bolos. Madeline Beyuka is the former wife of Edward Beyuka, a major Zuni silversmith. Her siblings include Philbert (Bert) Beyuka (Zuni), who works in mosaic jewelry, and Jonathan Beyuka (Zuni), who collaborated with his late father Edward Beyuka.
