Gloria Yellowhorse

Gloria Yellowhorse — Navajo silversmith hallmark namecard

Name-card placeholder — hallmark imagery to follow.

Overview

Hougart documents Gloria Yellowhorse as a Navajo silversmith working in shadowbox and twisted wire, set with exotic stones — the sister of Artie Yellowhorse, Betty, Frank Yellowhorse, and Jane Yellowhorse — and the mother of Richard "Little" Yellowhorse (not yet in the directory).

A word on dates: our scan garbles the headword and date span of Hougart's entry. Fragments suggest a year ending in a readable "013," but we won't guess at what we can't read — no birth or death dates are published here until the printed page can be checked.

Her mark is her own name in script.
