Hopi · documented in the T.Skies hallmark reference library

Ruth Ann Lucas is a Hopi silversmith active since the 1990s, working in fabricated forms with set stones. She is the daughter of Glenn Lucas.

OCR note: The source slug "oth-ann-lucas" is an OCR artifact — the scan dropped the opening "Ru" from "Ruth Ann Lucas," rendering the name as "oth Ann Lucas." The artist's name is definitively Ruth Ann Lucas based on the Hougart entry context and the family pattern (daughters of Glenn Lucas include Dorothy Ann, Helena, Trinidad, and Ruth Ann Lucas).

Her father Glenn Lucas (?–1985; Hopi) was a significant Hopi silversmith: active until his death in 1985, he worked in overlay and overlay combined with inlay and set stones. He was an instructor at Hopicrafts whose students included Art Batala and Phil Poseyesva. His mark is G L (conjoined).

The Mark

"[Mark not legibly recovered from OCR — verify in print source]" — Hougart, Bille. Native American and Southwestern Silver Hallmarks, 5th ed. (2022).

The OCR at approx_line 20468 contains significant degradation around the Ruth Ann Lucas entry. Her mark should be verified against the printed Hougart volume.
