Zuni · documented in the T.Skies hallmark reference library

Rolanda Haloo (born 1956) is a Zuni silversmith, formerly Rolanda Coonsis, active since the 1970s. She is an award-winning maker specializing in overlay with inlay, flush inlay, and jade work. She has collaborated with her son Colin Coonsis and with Nathan Boone. She is the sister of Lolita Natachu and of Nancy Haloo and Dolly Haloo, and learned the craft from family members. Some work bears the HRC stamp and features fish scale inlay.

Her sister Nancy Haloo is separately documented in this directory — see Nancy Haloo's page.

Overlay with inlay combines the Hopi-derived overlay technique with Zuni-style stone inlay elements. Flush inlay sets stones level with the silver surface. Fish scale inlay uses small overlapping stone elements in a repeating scale pattern.
