Overview

Michael Horse, born 1951, has been active since the 1970s — Hougart records him as artist, actor, and silversmith. The tribal line in our scan is partly garbled; it reads as Zuni/Apache/Yaqui, and we carry that reading with the garble noted rather than as a settled fact. His documented work is fabricated jewelry in silver and gold, with inlay; he uses old coins decorated with turquoise, and makes Kachina figures.
