Zuni · documented in the T.Skies hallmark reference library

Charlotte Eustace is a Zuni silversmith active since the 1970s, working in carved turquoise and leaf applique. She shared a stamp with her ex-husband Nelson Eustace. She is the daughter of Leo Poblano and the mother of Julius Eustace.

Charlotte Eustace is part of the extended Eustace family — see Ben Eustace's page for the family context. The Schaaf (2003) source records Charlotte Eustace alongside Felicita Eustace, Jolene A. Eustace-Hanelt, and Christina Eustace in the Eustace family portrait. Her father Leo Poblano (Zuni) is a significant figure in mid-twentieth century Zuni inlay.

Carved turquoise involves shaping turquoise cabochons into relief forms rather than cutting them flat. Leaf applique applies thin silver sheet cut into leaf shapes as decorative overlays on jewelry surfaces.
